Since Outlander season 7 is already being filmed, fans may not have to wait too long. In October 2021, it was confirmed that the next season could start in “late 2022 or early 2023.” (via Deadline) But the release date for Outlander season 7 has not changed since filming began. In either case, it doesn’t look like loyal viewers will have to wait too long this time.

Outlander Season 7 Story Details

As season 7 of Outlander will cover the rest of Gabaldon’s sixth book and much (if not all) of her seventh, it looks like it will be a busy season. The rest of A Breath of Snow and Ashes is about Outlander’s time traveller Wendigo Donner and the terrible fire that brought Brianna back to the past in the first place.

Claire will probably go to trial for killing Malva in Outlander season 7, which will shed more light on why Tom Christie is protecting her. And since Brianna is pregnant right now, it’s pretty clear that Bree and Roger’s daughter Amanda will be born soon.
