“Love Chunibyo & Other Delusions” is a delightful slice-of-life series that’s perfect for binge-watching whenever the mood strikes.
Torako and Nozomi Saka wrote and illustrated the Japanese light novel series that inspired the anime series. Two high school students, Yta and Rikka, both of whom have Chnibyo, are the subjects of ‘Love Chunibyo & Other Delusions’ (delusions).
There are two seasons and a film that is a direct continuation of the story released in 2018 in this anime.
The third season of the anime is already in development, according to numerous reports. Is this, however, accurate? Everything we know is here.
Will There Be’ Love Chunibyo & Other Delusions’ Season 3?
Season 3 rumors have been circulating on the internet for a while now, but no official announcement has been made. Season 3 of ‘Love Chunibyo & Other Delusions’ has yet to be officially confirmed by Kyoto Animation or any other company involved in its production.
Anime fans in Japan were able to catch the first season of the show from October 4 through December 19, 2012. It aired from January 2014 to March 2014 in the second season.
Both seasons had a total of twelve episodes. As opposed to a new season, they released an animated film as their final installment.
To wrap up the story, in 2018 a film called ‘Eiga Chuunibyou demo Koi ga Shitai! Take On Me’ was released. As a result, a third season of the show now appears unlikely.
However, if you are as optimistic and upbeat as your favorite anime characters, there is still hope for you, even if the odds are against you. On Crunchyroll, it’s one of the most popular shows. There is a 7.73 MyAnimeList rating for the first season and a 7.56 for the second season. These numbers appear to be quite popular. Animes with lower ratings have been renewed in the past.
When Will’ Love Chunibyo & Other Delusions’ Season 3 Release?

Even if the anime is renewed for a third season, it won’t air until the end of 2022 at the earliest. This article will be updated when the anime is renewed.

We see Yta’s realization of the depth of his feelings for Rikka in the anime film’s post-credits scene. As expected, Yta has made it back to his hometown. The new place that Rikka has moved into is two floors up. Rikka descends a rope while Yta realizes that he loved her for who she was, not just what she did. The fact that Yta used to be so irritated and annoyed with Rikka when they first met made this scene all the more poignant. Since they’ve spent so much time together throughout the seasons, their feelings for each other have become firmly established.
Ya and Rikka may still play a significant role if the anime returns for a third season. A new love story may be introduced in the new season, since the film ended on a positive note.
