Yellowstone’s first season aired in June 2018 on Paramount Network, and a second one aired in September 2018 on the same network. Producers of ‘The Walking Dead’ announced in February 2022 that the show would return for a fifth season in 2023. Despite its fifth season, Yellowstone continues to be a huge hit around the world. The 4th season finale of the show, which aired on the Paramount Network in January 2022 and broke all previous rating records, was the most-watched episode in the show’s history, according to Nielsen ratings.
The fact that Paramount intends to air a fifth season with more than the usual 10 episodes is no surprise. Season 5 will begin airing this summer. This fall, the fifth instalment will be released.

There will be seven episodes in season 5 when it premieres in the summer of 2022, and the second half will air after that. Production on Yellowstone Season 5 is expected to begin as early as May, and new episodes are expected to air in the late summer or early fall.
