Season 5 of The Marvelous Mrs Maisel has yet to be announced by Amazon Prime Video, and no word has been given on when production will begin.
Two years were lost because of the pandemic to Rachel Brosnahan’s comedy-fourth drama season. Seasons have traditionally been separated by a year or more.
As long as there are no more COVID-related delays, we can expect the fifth season of The Marvelous Mrs Maisel to be released in 2023.

The Marvelous Mrs Maisel Season 5 Trailer
That said, we’ll have to wait a little longer for the first official trailer for Season 5 of The Marvelous Mrs Maisel.
However, a picture of Midge sitting in the back of a taxi was released by Prime Video from season 5.
The Marvelous Mrs Maisel season 5 plot: What will happen?
Midge took over an illegal strip club and renovated it during season four of the show. She needed a Hail Mary, though, because the club had been raided.
As soon as Lenny Bruce (Luke Kirby) shows up and offers her the chance to open for him, she declines the offer. A few days later, when she is no longer in a position to complain, he scolds her for being so picky about the opportunities that are presented to her. At the very least, after years of hostility, they can spend some time together.
After an argument with Lenny, the headliner at Carnegie Hall, Midge storms out of the venue and into the blizzard outside. When she’s faced with an important decision, she’s thinking hard about her options. When she looks up at a billboard for The Gordon Ford Show, which she had previously turned down an opening spot on, we see that she’s a fan of the show.
How many seasons will there be of The Marvelous Mrs Maisel?
There will be a total of five seasons. Season four began airing on the 18th of February, 2022. Season four had eight episodes, and it’s safe to assume that season five will also have eight episodes. This season will have “250 episodes,” as Amy Sherman-Palladino joked with us. We’re shooting for the next decade, so it’ll weirdly be season five. Click here to see what Amy Sherman-Palladino had to say about the epic conclusion if you’re ready to check it out now.
Sherman-Palladino had the following to say about Prime Video’s decision to end the series back in March: That decision was based on several factors.” In this case, Amazon has a lot of sways. They’re the ones who write the checks, so apparently, you have to answer the phone when they call. That’s why we spent so much time and effort preparing to make sure that Midge got the proper send-off and treatment she deserved,” he says.
Her next words were, “We will give you a lot of bang for your buck. These episodes are taking a long time to etch out. Trying out some new things that people might not expect from us because we don’t do this type of thing all that often. There will be no more performances like this one, so we’re trying to enjoy every second. It’s one of those things that happens when you work with a cast and crew that you would risk your life for. We’re doing our best to make the most of every opportunity.
