That lovable mercenary is back in action. It’s been two years since the second season of The Mandalorian premiered, and we finally know when the third season will be released. As a result, buckle up and get ready to re-enter the Star Wars galaxy.
The Mandalorian Season 3 Release Date
Since ‘Kenobi’ is the latest Star Wars craze, ‘Mando’s’ next season will premiere in February 2023, so there’s still some time to go. But the wait will be worthwhile because we’ll get to see the new ‘Ahsoka’ series in 2023, according to reports.
The Mandalorian Season 3 Trailer & Plot
The trailer for Star Wars: The Force Awakens was only shown to attendees of this year’s Star Wars Celebration, so it cannot be viewed online. Despite this, we do have a few tidbits of information about the clip that can help us piece together the story.
According to the teaser, Din Djarin’s exile from the Mandalorians after removing his helmet in season 2 is one of the primary themes of the film. Din can only be forgiven by visiting the now-desolate Mandalore. Mandalore is seen for the first time as Din’s ship approaches the shattered planet in this short teaser clip.
Additionally, the teaser seems to emphasise Clone Wars’ favourite Bo Katan, as shots of the antagonist with Grogu can be seen, leading some to speculate about the possibility of the two working together, despite Bo Katan’s mission to steal Din’s Darksaber from the latter. A throne can be seen with her remarking that the Mandolorian does not impress her.
The Mandalorian Season 3 Cast
In addition to Grogu and Pedro Pascal as Din Djarin, Katee Sackhoff has been confirmed to play Bo Katan Kryze in the new film.
Carl Weathers, who appeared in one episode last season as Greef Karga, will return to reprise his role as the villainous character. Doctor Pershing, who made an appearance in the teaser but whose exact role we have yet to learn in Season 3 of The Mandalorian, will also make an appearance, this time played by Omid Abtahi. It has been confirmed that Giancarlo Esposito, who played Moff Gideon in the original series, will return to reprise his role.

When it comes to the mystery persona, Christopher Lloyd is a perfect fit.
