Come back to the big screen with the foul-mouthed star! The third Deadpool film is still on schedule.
Several factors, including the pandemic, have caused concern amongst fans of the series, including the possibility that the latest film will be cancelled. As a result of the Disney-Fox deal, Deadpool 3 is already in development at Marvel Studios.
As of this writing, there is very little known about the film; however, we will keep this page up to date with any new information that becomes available, so be sure to check back often.
Deadpool 3 Release Date: When Will the Marvel Movie Come Out?
Marvel has confirmed that Deadpool 3 is in development, but there is no word on when the film will be released.
In the past, Deadpool actor Ryan Reynolds has hinted that production could begin as early as 2022. However, in October 2021, Reynolds stated that he would be taking a break from acting as well.
On July 8, 2022, Thor: Love and Thunder will be released, followed by Black Panther: Wakanda Forever on November 11 and Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania on February 17, 2023. Marvel has already confirmed the titles that will be released in the year 2022. A release date set for November 3, 2022, by Marvel Studios is still open, but Deadpool 3 hasn’t even begun production, so the film is more likely to be released on November 3, 2024.
Deadpool 3 Cast: Who are the Actors Included in the Marvel Movie?
Deadpool 3 Crew: Who are the Creatives Behind the Scenes?
Deadpool 3 will be produced by Ryan Reynolds and Kevin Feige. Known for their work on the animated series Bob’s Burgers, Wendy Molyneux and Lizzie Molyneux-Loeglin will pen the screenplay for this film.
Reynolds and Shawn Levy, who directed The Adam Project, will work together again on Deadpool 3, as the film’s directors.
Deadpool 3 Plot: What Will be the Plot of the Threequel?
Adding Deadpool to the Marvel Cinematic Universe is going to be a challenge, but this film could be an opportunity to introduce other Fox characters into the MCU via cameos. Deadpool, who is known for breaking the fourth wall, could serve as the ideal narrator for a crossover between Fox and Disney.
Another possibility is that Deadpool 3 will serve as a “soft reboot,” separating the Disney Deadpool from the Fox Deadpool we’ve come to know and love. In addition to this, Deadpool may go back in time.

Cable’s time machine is repaired by Negasonic Teenage Warhead at the end of Deadpool 2. Wade was given the time machine by her and used it to go back in time and fix all of his mistakes from the past (including one where we see alternate Ryan Reynolds holding a Green Lantern script). In the end, he even tries to kill Hitler’s baby. The possibility of Deadpool’s time travel integration into the MCU is hinted at in the film’s end credits.
We know the Molyneux sisters have their work cut out for them no matter what happens in the film.
