Some of the plots are based on real-life federal prosecutions of financial crimes, and the show was inspired by investigations done by Preet Bharara, who was the United States Attorney for the Southern District of New York in Manhattan from 2009 to 2017.

The show started on January 17, 2016, on Showtime, and the fifth season came out on May 3, 2020. The sixth season started on January 23, 2022, and in February 2022, the show was picked up for the seventh season. The show is known for having believable characters and a story that makes sense. As of now, there is no official date for when Season 7 of Billions will come out. But the new seasons of the past came out early in the year. Chuck’s fight with Mike is different from his fight with Axe, and Mike is shown to be a different kind of person than Axe, who wants to use his power and money for good.

But Season 6 also showed that having good intentions is not enough to do a good thing, and that going to any lengths to do so is also not a good thing. We expect to see more of Mike’s antics and how Chuck handles the new cat-and-mouse game in the seventh season.
