American Horror Story is returning for an 11th season after an absence of more than a decade. The first half of American Horror Story: Double Feature, which aired in October, was set in the ocean, while the second half took place in the desert. It was a mystery for the first six episodes of Red Tide that the mysterious black pills that the Chemist sold to creatives in his seaside town gave them a vampiric bloodthirst, but also gave them unrestricted inspiration for their work.
Aliens abduct humans in Death Valley’s final four episodes, and President Dwight Eisenhower signs a treaty allowing them to experiment on tens of thousands of Americans each year in exchange for scientific advancements made by the aliens.
American Horror Story: Red Tide dispelled early sea-themed fan theories, but Death Valley (disappointingly) brought back aliens. Each of these ideas had previously been explored in depth by American Horror Story on separate occasions in the past. Vampire-like bloodsuckers like those featured in American Horror Story: Hotel inspired Red Tide’s cast of characters. Alien invasions returned to AHS: Death Valley after season 2, but there were no obvious connections to the events of Asylum in season 10.
This season’s return of actors like Evan Peters and Sarah Paulson was eagerly anticipated, but the overall season was a letdown for fans. The first five episodes of Red Tide were widely praised for their compelling premise and conflict, but Death Valley’s underwhelming storey was universally panned by fans. Expectations for American Horror Story season 11 are sky high as fans wait to see if the show can redeem itself and live up to the potential that Red Tide demonstrated throughout an entire season. What we do know about season 11 so far includes the premiere date, the cast, and possible plot lines and subplots.
American Horror Story Season 11 Release Date
American Horror Story season 11 has yet to have an official release date, but the pattern of previous seasons’ premieres provides some hints. The first five seasons of American Horror Story premiered in October, while the next four seasons premiered in September, a year after the previous season.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic delays, Double Feature marked several firsts for an American Horror Story premiere timeline. Almost two years after AHS: 1984 premiered in September 2019, AHS season 10 debuted in August 2021.
When American Horror Story’s season 11 isn’t halted like Double Feature, the show’s next season could premiere between August and October of 2022. Season 11’s horror elements make a fall premiere more appropriate, so a premiere date earlier than late August or even October would be surprising.
American Horror Story Season 11 Cast
For the 11th season of the show, there are still no confirmed actors or actresses as of June 2022. In comparison, the cast of “AHS: Season 10” was announced in February 2020, far ahead of the expected premiere date of the show’s 10th season. Of course, the Covid-19 pandemic delayed that season’s airing until August 2021.
Sarah Paulson, Evan Peters, Denis O’Hare, Jessica Lange, Lily Rabe, Frances Conroy, Emma Roberts, Kathy Bates, Finn Wittrock, Adina Porter, and Jamie Brewer are among the cast members who have appeared in five or more instalments. There’s a good chance that at least a few of those people will appear on “AHS: Season 11.” UPDATE: Naomi Grossman, a frequent guest star on the show, has said she “would say yes” to returning this season.
Is there a trailer for American Horror Story season 11 yet?
We apologise for the lack of new content at this point. If we don’t overthrow the current Supreme and take control of the coven, we can’t reveal what the new film will look like.
American Horror Story 11 may premiere no later than the end of summer 2022, but we wouldn’t be surprised.
In either case, we’ll keep you informed. but Enjoy the season 10 trailer.
American Horror Story Season 11 Story
According to Deadline, Ryan Murphy has yet to announce the official title for season 11, and he hasn’t even pitched the story to FX, as previously reported (via Murphy’s website). Murphy, on the other hand, has already teased fans about several potential future themes.
Fans were asked to vote on which of six American Horror Story season themes they were most excited about in a semi-poll that Murphy posted on Twitter in April 2021. Aliens, Christmas Horror, Bloody Mary, Piggy Man, Sirens, and Plague were among the suggested themes. These five options are more likely contenders for season 11 than aliens, who returned to Death Valley.
For those who were hoping for a return to an aquatic setting in season 11, Red Tide’s theme never actually included sirens. The American Horror Story: Asylum episode “The Naughty List” with Danny Trejo’s killer mall Santa and American Horror Story: Asylum’s “Santa Serial Killer Leigh Emerson” have both teased a Christmas Horror theme.
Bloody Mary and AHS’s own Piggy Man are both plausible choices because of Ryan Murphy’s interest in twisting urban legends in American Horror Stories episodes. It would be great if American Horror Story could use a well-known legend, such as Bloody Mary, to better showcase the show’s talented female cast, while Piggy Man would provide additional context for the American Horror Story legend already explored in Murder House. Plague, with its focus on the real-life COVID-19 pandemic, would be an excellent choice for American Horror Story season 11, following in the footsteps of Cult in season 7.
American Horror Story Season 11 Filming
AHS Zone reports that filming began on June 14 in New York for the upcoming episodes. It has been rumoured that (Fire Island) this season’s location will be New York City is the first time the programme has visited the East Coast, but it isn’t its first trip to the Big Apple. AHS: Season 10’s “Red Tide” portion was filmed in Provincetown, Massachusetts after multiple cycles of filming in Los Angeles and New Orleans.
